i just logged in and started a mission and i gave up after waiting over 7 minuets. Check the screen shot, nobody is going to wait this long for a mission

I'm playing alomost daily and wait no longer than a minute. I guess your car has a very low ps score and most people play with higher ps.

Not usually need to wait this long. I would try re-queue if it take more than 2 mins. As for the game is dead? The last event had over 100K accounts taken part, and it is not a popular event. Because the prizes are non-trade-able. Oh, check you region, some regions do have very low player count.

Weird, I play 3k to 11k ps and missions are almost always instant, even late night I never wait more than a minute. Are you sure you don't have a region lock on? That would explain this.

I'm in NA and it seems like most players are offline during our 'normal' play time due to a majority being located in EU

mmmh not really sure. i can just tell you that i see daily the same 40-50 players. day and night, every week, every month. all on eu-server does no matter what your settings). without we have a special event. lots of 2017 players are ingame at this time. but we have more accounts per player...

I'm in NZ and had long wait times, usually after 5 minutes it'd find a game with high ping.
Now I select US, Asia, EU or RU servers in options depending on what time it is and learning to play with 200-380 ping. However, this means I don't usually have to wait more than 2 minutes. RU in particular has very short wait times. Obviously its most popular there. But its 320+ ping for me.
For Raids I select AU since only one other player is needed and more likely to find someone locally.
Lately I made a couple of Australian friends. They team up with 4 or more AU players and play Patrol as a way to get an Australian server with 40 ping.
I'd rather have a high ping and get decent rewards. But its disappointing that there just isn't enough players on this side of the world to get regular missions on AU servers.

whats "normal play time"? as clocks do not dictate what i play nor when i play it.

I play in the EU Zone everyday. Until midnight the matchmaker takes no longer than a minute, mostly 20 sec. After midnight it goes up to 2 min, very rarely 3 min when it’s past 2 am.

So I have no issue here

I'm not sure why but usually that happens, 2-3+ minutes but what's normal is 5-20 seconds wait.

Try changing your region in the settings. Europe is usually under a minute wait time, but it all depends on how much latency you want to put up with (depending on where you live).

lol, that confirms my thoughts and what i wrote earlier and thats why i see daily (night or day) on EU server the same player. does no matter if you go for scrap, wires or batteries we are all on the same server.

I guess, on server you will meet more bots than real players, but most server are open and I didn't see any problem with connection.

Me either, this is a game I've never felt any lag. I did however notice the bots, few games had all players. Most games had half players/ half bots.
