linking error gaijin support
so today ive taken screen shots of all my progress and items before attempting link, surprise suprise, linking error, at least i can still access through with steam...

bought the game during closed beta on steam, account name at that time is DyeAmerrycunt
created a gaijin account recently, and have changed my steam name to Cryme Tyme

gaijin support help! where do i even submit his...

Why not just google for "Crossout" and follow the company links? (It's a serious question. Getting in contact with the developers or publishers instead of Steam would be the thing to do, don't you think?)

Of course maybe your internet access is restricted for various reasons, but - ah well.

BTW supposedly it might take a while by their words, but I contacted Gaijin once, took a few days but they got back to me, were polite and professional, issue resolved to my satisfaction, all that good stuff.

Maybe don't use that name 'dyeamerrycunt" tho.

It's like if you're in public and you start taking pictures of a police sergeant that's walking by. Technically you might not be doing anything wrong. But uhm, probably not the best idea.

I have succesfully "linked" my account after following with support. IT all happens BECAUSE you did not launched the game with your gaijin data INMEDIATLEY after joining up, so an account was created for the STEAM account that IS not linked to GAIJIN's, you NEED to delete on of them (th eone without progress, I'd suggest) and "link" them up afterwards, call support they are REALLY nice, and do this fast (all in all took me about 4 hours - spread in two separate days, because of "time zones".)

I couldn't launch the game via gaijin as I bought the game on steam during closed beta before it was free, i played a few months before their wipe announcement, then came back during open beta.

according to this, only way I will ever be able to link is if i never played the game on steam first, which was impossible...

Contact support they can connect to the right account for you supply the information in the ticket and they can clear it up.

Hello!
The issue you faced is caused by the fact that you created a new account via Steam.
There are 3 possible solutions for the issue:
1) We can delete that accidentally created Steam account and you will be able to link your Steam and Gaijin accounts correctly. The progress which you managed to earn will be lost in this case;
2) You can delete your Gaijin account to set free the email ********@gmail.com and link your Steam account to ********@gmail.com. The progress which you managed to earn will be kept this way.
3) You can link your Steam account to any email not registered in our database yet. The progress which you managed to earn will be kept this way.

I replied with solution #2, there is no way I'm losing everything again due to someone offended by my ign, which was my old steam name for a long period of time; if after their fix with solution #2 where I can change my ign to my current ign, I will, if I can't, then i did my best.

Currently dealing with this issue. Don't feel like waiting on the support team anymore so I'm gonna try to fix it myself

I have issue also linking email to the game. not had any issue before on any other game via steam. only played the game via steam. so i have no idea why it wont accept my email to link. it says im loged in in steam when i try and link but wont ever accept the email i enter in.
