ok well here's a breakdown of why caucasus is GOOD right now and why it is BAD right now.

ok first why it is GOOD - lots of hit points, does good damage. you put it on a frame build so cabin has durability. now you're fast (frame are heavy but you don't have lots of heavy armor plates weighing you down), maybe you use some druzhbas or something for melee, your gun does loads of damage, so before your cabin or your gun can get shot off you can reduce enemies to piles of wreckage

on the flip side these exact attributes and combinations make it suitable for seal clubbing at low PS, which is made worse for seals that are trying to farm fuel. Because fuel farmers add 420 PS to their cars with fuel tank and fuel tank +. That's 420 PS that doesn't fight that boosts their PS a lot. so reputation farmers rek them.

so yeah in some ways the good IS the bad.

BUT the Caucasus is legit also BAD. "BAD" as in the cauc user can legitimately say "hey this weapon needs to be buffed"

at higher PS scores everyone has loads of armor. so you're shooting at enemy armor (plink plink) and enemies now have super weapons so they JUST SHOOT UR CAUCASUS OFF LOL. caucasus so useless

and! the Caucasus is an EPIC WEAPON so it is a MAJOR INVESTMENT. I kno u kids that played the market and whatever r like "loool purple a major investment? try farming uranium boiii relics r major!!1one! lool even legendaries r common sauce" ok ok u kno i kno that BUT epic it's KINDA a major investment for new players ok

how to fite caucasus:

1. does it have a lotta frames? if yes then see step 2. if no, then shoot the cabin. shoot it a lot. for whatever reason some noob cauc users like to have builds that have loads of caucasus but no frames and no durability. so u just kill them.

2. if it has a lotta frames then uh oh someone maybe knows wat they're doing. shooting cabin will not work so well because they have lots of hp. so prioritize other vulnerable targets, enemies that have guns that you CAN shoot off.

3. if there are no other enemies with guns nearby, you should be with a group of your buddies, because that is smart, staying together is smart. so if there's a lone caucasus user you all kill him sure one of u might die but whatever. "oh but nobody's dumb enough to just charge in" - sure usually, but I have seen caucasus users charge in and get killed stupidly so it does happen.

4. if there are other enemies with guns nearby, and you're in a base cap situation, and/or some of your teammates are kinda slow then you can't really just run away. Because if you leave your teammates to die you're going to lose in the end anyways probably, and if you lose on cap then you lose. SO you have to fight. But think about it. Do you really need to fight? Can you maybe run and capture the enemy base? (especially if you're fast and your guns got shot off who knows). etc. THINK.

5. IF it's close and personal try to flip the enemy caucasus. hard if they have frames. you have to pay attention to the topography of the area, try to get your low part under their low frames, and IF you can manage it, you can tip the caucasus up. NOT just flip it, but tip it up so the caucasus guns have no good firing angles. Then it's effectively neutralized. Maybe you can even shoot at other enemies while you've tipped the Caucasus. I've done it. Now yeah ok this is not easy, and you will get shot, but it sure beats getting shot in the face by Caucasus right?

6. IF it's NOT close and personal then remember Caucasus is only going to shoot stuff it can "see". You use bushes, whatever, it doesn't seem to see you so well. Pop in and shoot, it shoots you, you run away, it loses its target on you. (Maybe the Caucasus charges after you, hopefully you have friends nearby). If you're armored all around, turn your vehicle's points that haven't had their armor shot off yet towards the Caucasus. So the Caucasus user has to shoot off ALL your armor. (note they CAN still do this AND blow up your cabin while you haven't even gotten their cabin on fire yet or blown off their gun but whatever, this is just the best you can do with what you have).

how to USE caucasus:

1) use frame build. instead of putting 3 caucasus on a growl or something, use frames. frames make u hard to kill. ur gun is hard to kill, ur cabin is hard to kill, u r hard to kill.

2) stay near buddies, preferably ones that are durable and can stand up in a fire fight and shoot off enemy weapons. like armored machine guns, armored shotguns. cannons you don't care for as buddies, they can't shoot off enemy guns. (it's ok if they're around but they aren't your favorite buddies). wheel drone and turret users tend to run away, so don't hang out with them, they will leave you to die. Ideally you want to go in, your buddies shoot enemy guns off, then your uber firepower finishes stuff off quickly then you move on to the next group

3) think about putting some druzhbas or augers or something on. because what did u see in the tips above? ya that's rite, u have cauc, the ez way to neutralize u is to tip u. melee, tip, whatever, short range. so think, if they are at long range you can use cover. no problem. if they are at kinda medium to short range then your awesome sauce caucasus plus your nearby buddies have the edge. but what if they're right on top of you? maybe you need a melee option. and if you have passives like bumpers that still won't stop augers from chewing away at you. SOOOO druzhbas or augers whatever

4) use cover. you're tough but you won't stand up to focus fire

5) know when to charge out. if you're hiding behind a tree the whole game, odds are good some of your team isn't hiding behind trees, and they are the ones that will get shot. Then they die. then you're all alone against five enemies and they surround you and kill you or capture your base or whatever. don't be a coward, fight!
