Is Crafting Worth It?
I have noticed that crafting seems to be pointless...I went to the market and wrote down all the prices of the required resources to craft a rare for example...In the end with all the costs it seems that crafting and reselling a blue is pointless as you make a max of 5 coins per item, if you craft to sell. Now if you craft something better like an epic its still does not seem worthwhile. I counted that as well and the crafting costs would add up to around 360 coins. Selling one you could get around 440 coins max, after the market fee it becomes around 400. So after spending all those 360 coins as well as waiting 6 hours you only make about 40 coins, and you still have to use all those crafting slots you bought to even craft in the first place.

The reason I made this thread is because I see many people saying that "They craft and resell to make easy profit" It just does not seem to be. And I counted and recorded all of this (with a calculator) multiple times. Am I missing something or is this just how the game market is? If so, why is crafting even in the game?

There is no real fast way to make coins other than buying them, so of course crafting will only net you a small profit at most. If crafting and selling made big profits, then no one would buy coins also your items would never sell because who would buy them for a large amount when they can craft them for so much cheaper? There are more reasons but this is rant enough.

market fluctuates, crafting and buying low is the way to go, selling high on Out Of Print items like the knight rider boxes will net you a good amount of coins.

IMO crafting is still little more profitable then selling all resources and saving cash on crafting slots, butprices are going down slowly, soo soon economy can colapse ;]

When ever this topic comes up. Do folks just expect everything to be free..../s. A five coin profit is still better than nothing, and yes crafting is almost always cheaper than buying. If there was a huge profit margin it would crash the market, if you didn't have to rent the bench again it would crash the market, if there wasn't a tax on the sale of items again it would crash the market. Learning how to play the market is a must if you want to make coin. Now if crafting isn't your speed then sell your resources and someone else will craft the items, but don't devalue the time that alot of us have put into the game and crafting.

This...and you don't have to sit and wait... you can play and wait, that in turn give you more resources.
