Melee weapon positioning?

How do you guys place your melee weapons? when I try to use a buzzsaw or auger sometimes, and try and ram someone at full speed, I tend to go over the opponent instead of "drilling" into them, sometimes just land ontop of them instead wich isn't really ideal, any tips?
I'm not really going for an all out melee build it's just 1-2 weapons sometimes

thats is your problem, fenders and blades are passive weapons that are meant to be rammed with, the active melee are not, you want to just move your weapon into them.

Augers and buzzsaws do damage on impact also Cryme.

I put my people eaters low on my front frames. I very rarely go over someone, but it can happen if i hit a wedge from the front. I also use a frame build, so im heaveir then most vehicles, which also helps.

They do damage, but they get damaged themselves and their melee resistance is 75% unlike passive melee's 90%. Ramming too hard with them is not recommended.

I don't normally use melee weapons, but all of my builds have bumpers in the front, and some even in the back. Because cars crashing into eachother just happens in this game.
