But also races are cool - you can strap a lot of decor items, but preferably light ones to your ride, and it's enough to have 4 decent wheels, Duster/Growl cabin and 8-10 white boosters to have a chance to win.
I'm lvl 30 + 1 prestige at Engineers, started before open Steam launch at OBT launch.
Yeah noticed there is an exp cap before you start earning a lot loss exp per match per day, how does the cap work though? Is it based on number of matches or is it a cap on the amount of exp you can get per day meaning everyone gets the same ammount of experience before the drop in exp potential?
So how does prestige work in this game? Do you lose all the items you get through leveling up through the faction and have to start again or do you retain your items?
No, they're just extra levels for achievements. And secondary factions are supposed to give a crate with items for each prestige level, did not reach them yet, they have far higher XP requirements.
BTW i think there's a bug that XP modifiers get multiplied instead of summed up, so try going into brawl with decor items and daily XP boost to check. During weekend special i got some crazy numbers like 1050% xp.
As for me, playing very good isn't rewarded either since there's a 1200 limit you can get out of a battle even if you score 3000, and when you've already hit the scrap limit, which is also dumb, it doesn't even matter whether you win a battle or not. This seems ridiculous for me, but that's the way it is for now.
There's some way to get your rep boosted from that point. The most obvious is of course the daily 400% bonus (up to 60k) which is significant on lower levels (and which is not on higher ones). You can also get flags to get a little boost, I personally chose to put high numbers of headlights on my preferred build vehicle so I get a good rep boost for every battle. With all the little white headlights (each one gives 1% of boost) I get ~50% rep bonus from every battle, so in a good battle I get ~1800 instead of the limited 1200. It costs a little bit of coins and adds some PS to your vehicle, but I can deal with it.
the amount of rep for leving at hiegher levels..yes seems daunting. but thuis can be changed,
more as we think about end game stuff or whats planned in future this can smooth out..ideas welcome.
