Workbench question
Hi,
Just reached level 10, tried to craft some new weapons and realised I need credit to rent workbenches in order to craft some good weapons.

1. What is the difference between the different "capacity" of the workbenches? Do I need the bigges workbench to make sure I can craft all the items, or the workbench capacity just controls how many items I can craft simoultaneously? So if I dont plan to be a manufacturer, then it is enough to rent the cheapest WB? Is there any timeout on the rent, or is it permanent?

2. Is there any way to trade equipment/resources with my friends DIRECTLY, without the marketplace?

Hi there.

1. You can craft only one item at the time on any workbench. Only difference between "capacity" of workbenches is the additional "rent" you pay per manufactured item.
For blue tier workbench it's 5 coins per item if you rent for 25 coins, 4,75 coins if you rent for 47,5 coins, and 4,5 coins if you rent for 67,5 coins. The workbench will still till you run out of "runs", after that you can rent it again at any time.

2. No. The Devs said there will not be direct trade ever.

1- just the number of times you can build, best way to earn money is to sell extra fuel among others resources; some times they have a sale, recently a 20% off purple bench rent fee, best to buy in bulk to save credits, do the season and daily quests.

2- no, the marketplace is the only way sadly.

Thanks for the responses....

Sorry for asking to clarify: if I rent the workbench for 25 coins, does it mean I have 5 runs available without additional fee (thats how a run cost 5 coins/run)
OR
on the top of the initial 25 coins, I have to pay additional 5 coins every time I run, and after 5 runs I need to do a new rent? So in total, 5 run cost 50 coins (25 initial + 5*5)

First one. Just divide rent price on number of runs and you will see.

you dont pay extra every time you want to craft, kind of like the first engineer bench that crafts common items.

does anyone know if you rent another factions bench, but then you change factions, does the rented bench keep the remaining uses in it, or are they lost?

It keeps them, but you cant craft anything on it till you switch back to that faction again. But this rule exclude the starting faction, you can craft anything on their workbench at any time.

1) More items = discount of 10%, except Engineers decor bench, never rent it for 5, no use. It's permanent, you can switch to another faction and return. You can even launch crafting, switch to another and would still be able to take the result.
Sometimes they are special promotions on rents, use them for bulk purchases.

2) No. Send them money via paypal maybe :D

I'm still wondering about coupons though. I've tried searching it on Google, but it just comes up with the diffrent kind of coupon. How do you earn a workbench coupon? I'm in the scavengers, and want to make a part without having to paying tons of coins.

I only just started, but yesterday someone added me as a friend and now visitors started appearing in Test Drive. They give you a reward if you honk at them. Idk what the possible rewards are but they gave me a coupon for an epic workbench twice. Be careful not to attack or run into them though, or they'll turn hostile. I destroyed one of them before I knew you could honk at them and all I got was 100 copper, which is only worth about 3 coins.
New visitors appear every 8 hours, and their numbers depend on how many friends you have. So, add me: Adnihil42334

An other way to get coupons is by leveling up your factions (lvl 10 for Engineers and level 3 for the other factions). You can only get this once per faction.
