how do add a friend? whe i search him and he search me it says player not found?

Make sure you enter the exact name of your friend. (case-sensitive)
If you are still unable to find your friend, enable the general chat (click the small gear-icon in the chat window) and tell your friend to say hello there. Then right-click your friends name and add him to your friend list.
