One last question: Is there OFFLINE Single-player skirmish games? Or do I have to be connected to some server?
Thanks for the prompt reply, jables. Is there ever a plan for a scripted campaign in either the original PA or in this TITANS sequel, a la Total Annihilation style?
You can play offline, but your system has to meet the "offline requirements" which are higher than normal.
Well, such is life. I will definitely keep my ears open in case something like that happens, as the TA single player brought me a lot of joy (as did the expansions that followed it) but I won't hold my breath. Thanks for the answers.
If scripted campaigns are expensive then you are using a game engine from the 1980's, scripted campaigns are really easy to add with a modern game engine. But it still have to be planned from the beginning to keep voices the same and at a minimum cost, unless you do the voices yourself ofcourse.
Count me out, good luck with your game.
