The Vanilla PA had no sound issues I can think of.
So between Vanilla PA and TItan, something or a lot of stuff was changed.
Just my two cents.
It seems to happen anytime I enter Picture-in-Picture mode. All sound cuts out until I restart the game. I have only been playing in the galaxy battles so this is the only mode I have experienced this in so far. Wouldn't mind trying some other scenarios if you have anything specific you would like me to attempt to replicate.
The weirdest one for me is any VOIP program (Skype, Steam Chat, Razer Comms, Teamspeak) will cut out crash after 10-15 minutes in PA Vanilla and Titans and will require a game restart to get it back. My friends don't have the issue so no idea what's causing it.
Not a sound issue per-se but I've also noticed that the computer will say "Allied commander claimed bounty" or something to that effect when a silo has finished building a Nuke sometimes too.
I'm playing Galactic War. I saved, restarted the game, loaded back, continued the system I was on and tried it again, exact same thing happened the moment I opened PiP. So I restarted again, and then when I loaded I had lost all progress (over an hour) on my current system! It was as if I hadn't even jumped to it yet. I am not happy :(
Discussed in the In-Game chat but summarizing here. Some audio programs can cause problems. When troubleshooting issues, start with
https://planetaryannihilation.com/support/troubleshooting/
which will also have links for OS-specific items.
I even got a sound card but that didnt help at all. I think the game has too much going on at once and a lot of the battle sounds mixed with other ambient audio causes a lot of issues.
