Hahaha yeah that's actually a really good point. State of Decay should have taught the industry many lessons... alas....
Let's be honest, Uber didn't make a game, they sold one. Why give a damn about quality when you can have an army of moderators like Stuart shoving false information down people's throats and sell your game for a profit anyway. Making a "good game" is no longer the norm in this industry. The norm is about hyping up your game to sell copies to fund your next game. This is what Uber tried to do with PA and Human Resources.
If I didn't want to do that I'd instruct my moderators to argue on the forums and to try to kill any chance of my company having a decent relationship with the top games distributor on the planet. I guess that's why Uber has moved out of games now and in to other stuff ---- or didn't they tell you? :D
edit: i dont want to post it here because it's mean but I will PM you (if you PM me first) the details of Uber's CEO's new company that the funds of PA:T are going to provide for.
You mean his VR project? It's public knowledge.
It's even on his LinkedIn page.
Yes his VR project. Honestly, how else will he be funding this? From his night job in the supermarket stacking shelves or do you think he realized it needed funding and PA was perfect for it? :)
I don't mind a company raising capital to further future projects but when it is under the flag of something else it really reminds me of a word called Deception.
