Can't stop halley planets
Is there a way to stop a planet after it starts moving? I've tried nukes, unit cannons and orbital units but none of them can target the planet in motion. Is this supposed to happen, and is there any way of stopping them once launched?

You cannot send anything to the planet once it starts moving. You always have vision on the progress of the construction of the Halleys, so you have some advance warning and idea of the timing. Just be sure to launch your units before the Halleys fire and you've got a chance. Depending on the route the planet has to take through the system, there's a fair chance your units will catch it and land.
Could you move your own planet out of the way?

The only way to move your planet, assuming itt's movable, is to target a non-moving planet. So that kinda defeats the purpose. I don't know if anyone has tried it though.

Might be funny if you had 1 team on each planet and just had them all chase each other.

I almost pulled off a planet intercept (smashing my halley into theirs) but they saw it coming and evaded. Not sure if it would work, but i guess theres another answer to the question if it does.

If you have access to an Annihilazer, you may be able to destroy the approaching planet before it hits one of yours.

I have had my planet be stopped mid movement by orbital fire, but I'm pretty sure they have to be sent before its started moving. Also if your planet is stopped mid halley it glitches the game a bit depending on where its stopped.
