I just wanted to get the idea out there and see if there was any interest for it, I didn't have any particular playstyle in mind when I wrote this thread.
Seeing as the robot factions have technologically evolved for a very very long time, and have more or less essentially assimillated and annhilated anything and everything they have come across, so naturally any surviving humans would be less technologically advanced in comparison. Especially when considering how quickly AI would be able to research new technologies and prototype them, compared to us limited fleshlings.
I want the humans to use more covert and flexible tactics, to emphasise human adaptability and use of guerilla warfare. Sorta a David vs Goliath matchup.
As I am very much a fan of the Terminator series, and always wanted to see the future machine war fully realised in a game, this would be a dream come true to me.
It would be a lot fun to see lots of little human soldiers running around, getting blown to bits. Supported by aging technologies(by robot overlord standards). The humans would probably think their technology is top of the line, cutting edge stuff though.
