Tranporting units does not work
I can load 1 unit and when I click unload it won't land the spacecraft to unload the unit..

You are selecting unload and then clicking on the environment somewhere to tell the unit where to drop off, right?

yes. I am. I even selected all tranporters and unloaded on one spot but only one dropped of the unit.

Do tranport units only have a limit of 1 unit?

Yes, Orbital Transports only load a single unit.
There plans for a larger Orbital Transports capable of carrying 12, but it hasn't made it into the game. (Much to my disappointment)

You don't really need multiple unit transport since you can build a teleporter.
Also you can use area commands to get a group of transports to select a group of units and then drop them all, and the same place, usually it's quite high risk compared to using the teleporter.

I'm not aware there were any such plans, only that Uber said they didn't plan on doing it because it introduced additional technical difficulties. Then the teleporter made it irrelevant, units like the Helios doubly so. And given area commands you've removed the reason for the existence of multi-unit transports existing in the first place.

If you're trying to unload on a different planet you first need to move it to that planet and then unload. You can hold shift to queue the commands.

I have the same issue in the tutorial. The spacecraft goes down towards the moon to unload and just stops and doesn't do anything. I can click unload somewhere else and it will move there, go down to the planet and just not land or drop the unit. What gives?

Are you sure you loaded the unit into the transport.

I watched it pick it up yeah. I'm pretty sure I can see it on the loader thingy

Did you click the unload icon on the UI on the top right?

If you want to unload on another planet I believe you need to first order it to MOVE to the planet and then UNLOAD. You can hold shift to queue this sequence.
SOMA Jan 7, 2017 @ 3:37pm
Yes it's moved to the new planet and it won't unload it. I pressed the unload button yeah, I don't know any other way to do it. Like I said it actually would move to the moon and go down but not let go. Will try again another time.

Sounds like you think you've loaded it but haven't. Zoom in and see if it's really holding a unit.

Does this look like it's really holding a unit or not?

Fantastic - three astraeus who refuses to unload the advance fabricator....

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2761354711

First attempt was order the fab unit into the astraeus and then I click unload after zooming out of the main planet and then into the moon planet. It got there no probem, attempts to land but doesn't unload so now it's just hovering there idling...

Second attempt, instead of having the fab unit ordered into the astraeus, I got astraeus to load the unit first by clicking the button and then onto the fab unit. Then zoomed all the out of the main planet and then back into the moon and click unload next to the other astraeus that refuses to unload. It gets there no problem but as soon as it tries to land, it refuses to unload and hovers the same as the first astraeus....

Third attempt, I used your method - so an extra step instead of straight click unload onto a spot on the moon. Still hovers as the result.... So next you're gonna tell me there's an additional step to this for them to finally unload, what is it?
