what is this game like? Real answers please.

So honestly is this games story or gameplay, if there is any, good or is it a game you just buy for the girls? Also since it's on sale for $1 I was wondering if I should get vol.0 to get an idea as to if I will like the other games in the series? can anyone tell me if that would be a good idea?

It's a visual novel, so there's basically no gameplay. You just read the text and listen the characters voices, and unlock CGs.
For what I've seen so far, this "prologue" only features some funny moments hour per hour, following the catgirls on a "normal, day".

I bet the two other games have a more developed scenario, but if you are not used to VNs, this one is sure still a good way to see if you could like this kind of things.

Well I just tried this for the first time and... aside from the fact that it reminds me that I wish I could speak fluent Japanese, there is not a whole lot here. It's fanservice with no substance. There seems to be no character depth. Maybe that changes in the future, but I'm on Chapter 9 and I just let it autoplay.

There is a feature to pet the catgirls. It's cute the first time, and you'll want to do it to get the achievements, but after that, I just watch it like a show.

My opinion is that you should watch anime from Netflix or whatever other sources are out there, and get your 18+ content from free p orn sites.

So why did I buy it? Well, to be honest... I was itching to spend money when the Summer Sale hit. I owned most of the games on Steam that I actually want to play... and these perverted visual novels have been all over my homepage. So, I gave in to temptation. I don't necessarily regret it because I didn't waste that much money on it... but I wouldn't buy it again.

Thanks for your input. It was really helpful. I'm in the same situation right now as far as wanting to spend money, but I already own all the games I really want. I also like trying new genres of games though. So I'll likely pass on this one, and pick up one of the other visual novels just to see if I enjoy it.

Sure. I always hate discouraging people from buying a product that they might enjoy. So, keep in mind that all of that was just my opinion and that there are people who absolutely adore this series.

Take everything I said with a grain of salt. I don't want other people to think I'm just bashing the game and hating on it. It just may not be my type of game.
