also, which bosses give cubes? it seems most of them don't give anything... is it random?
At first you will just often reset right after 100 or so and use the TC to improve the Damage and Gold perks to get through the first 100 levels at breakneck speed. and maybe a little in progress to skip the first 10 to 30 waves and improve the tc drops down the line. this is done untill you can easilly rush through up to 150.
You should begin to snowball at that point and beyond getting to 100 initially, it doesn't take long to do that.
Right now I'm getting to level 510, and only resetting once I fail a boss 10 times in a row, with about 1000-1500 cubes per reset.
All in only 30 hours.
Rainbow Balls are huge helps. It also helps to just aim for upgrades and promotions i find.
You could reset at 100, but that will take way longer to pull off.
sadly, after hitting wave 500 the game gets kinda boring. it's repetitive with no real variations, just a little bit of fun buying artifacts after each warp. i leave the game running in the background and check every 10-30mins to buy upgrades while waiting for it to hit 500, but it's really boring.
The confirmed TCs at those waves aren't too great in number though. A bit high for the wave you get them at, but by the time you hit 500, the 60 or so you get isn't too impressive when you're rocking 1000+ of the things :D
And each new ascension should ideally net more cubes than you originally started with. This way, even if you misspend on some unhelpful abilities, in each new run you will reach back your highest level in less time and have room to add at least 40 before needing to ascend for multipliers.
