Now i have 6 injured players. 4 of 6 Guards are injured (incl. all PGs). That is just insane.
The first 3 guys that got injured in my team were Benchplayers with only 3-5 min overall played in the game.
My starting lineup is always playing only 26min as a maximum. They are not pushed to the limits.
Next game will be funny, when my PFs have to play some minutes as SG...
Now on to potential solutions. The one thing I wanted to do was run plays for my teams almost every possession to get more open looks because I do play with my shot sliders at around 30-40. I noticed the more plays you run with the focus on getting your players wide open shots, the less likely your players will end up with "wear and tear". Which I know it theory, sounds pretty self-explanatory, but I wouldn't have assumed it would make such a signficant difference. I also stopped backing down players in the post as much and only relied on that technique when I didn't have enough time on the shot clock to run a play. Instead, I would run more low post plays and pick and rolls. I've played 3 games on 12 minute quarters and in 2 games i've ended up with no players banged up and 1 game with "wear and tear" on 2 players which I can recall from getting lazy one quarter and not running as many plays. Previously I would have approx... 6-10 players showing up with wear and tear by the end of the game. I've also been playing my starters at around 30-34 minutes as well. In the past, at around the 18-20 minute mark they would start to get banged up. So i suggest to those having issues to setup your playbooks that fit your roster skill set and start running plays. I think it's worth noting that I do have my fatigue set at 44 and durability set at 100 for both the CPU and myself. just avoid taking shots that may have your players land in awkward positions because otherwise your always rolling a dice on an injury......or at the very least it will add on to the 'wear and tear", which just makes that dice roll even higher on them getting injured the next time they land awkwardly. I hope this helps and best of luck!
On a side note, I still think the injury frequency needs to be toned down a bit. But that's just my personal opinion.
