It could also be something that affects your teammates in a small way. Like, high intangibles make your teammates have higher success rate in things they do (like shots, steal attempts, defense, ...)
Whatever it is, it's quite intangible indeed.
It can refer to stuff like hustling a lot, really being a great help defender, being a good screen setter on and off the ball, boxing out consistently even if you're not the one to grab rebounds, being really tough and durable and having a good competitive mindset. Everything basketball IQ related that doesn't appear in your stat line. Maybe even being a good practice partner or locker room presence (but people generally talk about intangibles on the floor).
