[FIX] Can't Connect to 2k Servers / 2k Store

This fix is actually very easy.

You need to have at least 3gb of free space on ALL of your hard drives and then 2k will magically work.

This sounds silly (I know, I work in IT for a living) but it's the truth.

When 2k didn't work:

I had had a C: with 922mb free and an E: with 240gb free.

When 2k started working:

I have a C: with 10gb free and a E: with 240gb free.

The next thing I would try is make sure to port forward your router & turn on uPnP.

holy moly. IT WORKED!!! wow. I should have listened when that dude told me a couple days ago but I thought it was a joke. I only had 1.3gb free on my hdd, but after I deleted ARK it freed up like 40+ gb. wow! Can't believe that worked. A big basketball loading icon appeared (for the first time) when I turned the game on. It must have needed to recognize enough space for patching to enable the server connection. no idea really. WOWOWOW thanks OP your my fcking hero

It doesn't work for me. I installed 2k17 on disc D. My C: has 87.9 gb free and D: has 147G free. There is also more than 100G for the left two discs.

hi everybody,after I reinstall steam and nba 2k17 the game cant connect to the server and it appears the code efeab30c.I did the main step which is leaving more space but it still happens the same.Besides i ve deleted that particular folder(app data...) and definetely still the same.
I have to say ive put mods but i ve moved them out of the nba folder(steamapps/common...)

!!! This 'technically' has worked for me.

I initially had over 3gb of space in both my drives. But I deleted/made room (~5gb) in the drive with less room (the OS Drive & oddly NOT the drive containing Steam/the game). Restarted the game and it loaded with a connection to the 2K servers.
