layups broken

The layups in NBA 2k17 worked normal at first. The rate of making them was ok. But since i got the relentless finisher badge i can make NO layups. He just plain misses them all to an amount where it is ridiculous.
I played every NBA 2k since 2011. I´m having this problem since 3 games. No improvement. My rating for moving layups is 87 and standing 86
and i even have the gold acrobat badge. The timing of my layups is always very bad, even if its really close to perfect. The layup rating is almost all the time F. Sometimes D-. I am not talking about forced layups. Im talking about layups with good, open looks.

Seeing as the badges don't effect the timing of the shot, the only way you're getting feedback that bad is if you're not releasing on time, or your inside scoring stat is trash.

Seriously. Take some time practising either on the MyCourt, or play some 1on1 with a second player idling and see if you can work it out.

I'm telling you it's either something you're doing, or it's your stats. System's working.

He says he has an 86 and 87, and it's almost at the end of the bar but it's still giving him very bad releases. I have this problem too sometimes in myteam, it's so close to the end you can barely see it yet it's a D- brick very bad when there's a little space.

You're aware you need to time the shot like a normal jumper, right?

Outside of that, I think there's a setting in the options that uses "Real%" or something like that. I'd be more exact, but I'm being terrible in the park at the moment xD

Man SirusTheMadDJ i don´t want to be rude, but have you even read what i was writing. Here is a summary:
- Layuprating 87
- relentless finisher
- almost perfect timing
- acrobat badge
- open layups

i ONLY throw bricks

Why i know it´s a bug:
I´m already in my 20th game in mycareer. I was making layups in a good rate. Even if contested. BUT suddenly since i got relentless finisher i am making NO(!) layups.
This makes the game unplayable because my player is a slasher!

This even goes to the point, that EVERY layup, which is only slightly contested is a bad shot selection!

I haven't had an issue with them, and you're currently the sole person on both here and YouTube that seems to have this issue, so that's why I have that idea.

If no-one else is having it, and Google isn't coming up with anything, then the only other thing I can suggest is verifying your game files if you still believe the game's at fault.

No, thank you guys. I tried everything. Maybe i have to start a new player. Everything is fine with layups then.

Maybe something is buggy just with my player. Like i said. It started when i got the finisher badge.

So, Update here:

On my second mycareer i watched really close, as when the "missing layup bug" starts.

As soon as i get the acrobat badge, i dont hit a single layup! I even reinstalled the game.

Nothing works. So i´m done with the game until it gets patched.

Yeah your not the only one experiencing it, dont mind the blablabla in here. Prolly same people that were saying theres no shot meter glitch.

Yeah my lay-ups are pretty broken.

Early release is a miss.
Perfect releases are often superman blocked or hit the bottom of the net/backboard.
Late releases regularly give me free throws. Which wouldn't be so bad except you'll be shooting with a ~68 free throw rating.

I play on Superstar, so it's probably working fine if you play rookie or whatever.
