ON WHY I HATE 2K17 MyCAREER EVEN MORE THAN 2k16s

The game really pisses me of and year by year it is geting worse:
1. Lack of option to skip cut sceens is ridiculous (every time you creat n3e mycareer you need to do whach it)
3. Player archetypes are ♥♥♥♥. I want to build all-rounder / two way player. If it would mess up MyPark add all-rounder as non-Park archetype.
3. How I am supose to beleve that character with 55 overall is considered best in the country?
4. "President of basketball"/'Pres' is as stupid nickname as 'Frequency Vibrations'. I had to name my player Bush to feel it makes any sense.
5. Justise Young is pointless and calling anything 'Orange Juice' is corny. I hope he will die, have career ending injury or gets cut before the end of first season. Denver is pointless to. I want realistic ROLPLAY and Creed's main actor is not helping (Creed is about BOXING not bball !!!).
6. It is much better to be undrafted 55 overall underdog than 55 overall superbum who meses up the real draft selection. They should make the character undrafted like in 2k15 and if they need something new the should drop the half-♥♥♥♥♥ college games and make him go through D League.
7. College music during games drives me crazy.
8. Chris Webber comentary is awful. He sounds fake. He does not speak like that normally. In-game he sounds like he has lockjaw.
9. Why I can't check current who is on the floor and on which position?
10. Gameplay is over-animated. I hate 2k17 and 2k17 animations sucking you into contact/box outs which cause you some stupid 2-seconds calls.
11: How needs that idiotic camera shake during free throws? (I turned it off and it is still shaking when oponents are shooting! WTF? )
12. How many times can I watch my player to to my warehouse and leaving it.
13. Why in practice I need to wait 10+ seconds to reject exercise to go to the gym?

I paid for the game, I do not have any other fresh bball game to choose instead, so I play it. Is it frustrating? Yes and that is why I am venting me frustration here.

Can agree on almost all the points you make. What drives me freaking nuts is this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up Orange Juice ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I mean I really hate "Justice Young" AND "Denver Levins" from the bottom of my heart! They are so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying, unbelievable. And what pisses me of the most: MyCareer is supposed to be the gamemode about YOU and not a dumb random ♥♥♥♥ I don't give a shít about, so why is (20 games played so far) almost all the cutscenes about him? Also why the hell does he get a 89 Rating after just 20 games? That's just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, I mean the guy how has 99 midrange, threepoint, speed, steal and so on. Dafuq is this? Just remove this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ from the game! I get the thing with the friendship / duo-feature thing, but then just use a real player, without all those senseless cutscenes.
What pisses me off the most: since I'm one of those idiots who pays for VC year after year after year: why is there no oppurtunity to get back the VC once you delete a career? The points are used for attributes, so since there's no more usage of them what's the problem in getting them back? If I had known about the development / dynamic of this Justice ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I'ld be doing everything to get rid of him from the beginning... Did some wrong choices, now all the bucks are wasted and I'm just frustrated...

To my mind if you want to add a new feature it should be: import your career from previous games (without the online-mode then). I wanna play the latest 2k release, but that means most of the times I just get the play through 1 or max. 2 seasons at best (12min quarter). For real I can't be the only one who gives a ♥♥♥♥ bout MyPark and his cheater-community. Last time I tried to played a match there was last year, 1 day after release. Guess what? EVERYONE 99 Rating.... Fo shizzle...

However to conclude: screw Orange Juice, screw all those cutscenes, screw the mobilephone-♥♥♥♥, the warehous-walkin and ♥♥♥♥ JUSTICE YOUNG! I HATE HIM! DAMN IT.

Just chemistry man, there's always people you like and others... well not so much, right? For example I liked this college buddy Alabaster. But for now there's no further mention of him whatsoever. And "Orange Juice" is just a dumb name, like "Pres". Even dumber than my name, for godsake.

Alabaster was pretty much vince so im glad hes gone. and he was going back to school so why would they mention him again

Orange Juice sounded strange AT FIRST but the more you play with it and the more you learn about it the more you will start to love it.

just cant believe you dont like OJ or Justice...i get so many assists as a SF because justice drains 3's all the time and the OJ chemistry is awesome. Khris Middleton even tried to add some Pulp to the OJ looool.

Pres isnt really something to complain about either But if you seriously hate it you can change the nickname in mycareer

Problem with Orange Juice and Justice is that I want to play at realistic NBA team with real NBA players and not some kind of fantasy team consisting of actors playing boxers and imagined players with stupid names.
Regarding the nicknames - Big Ticket, The Truth, The Answer, The Logo, Black Mamba, His Airness, Big Shot Bob, Boogie, The Doctor (Dr. J) - those are cool NBA nicknames.

I got the Juice part (squeezing cut scene) but why Orange???

1. I just asked for a trade and I hope Justise wil stay and than die in car accident. That scenario worked in the past.
2. I bought the game with my own money. I am not happy and as a customer I have right to complain. I want 2K to creat a good MyCareer experiance and I will trash them online for every retarded idea and "improvment", that actualy is a downgrade, until they do.

BTW That Orange Juice orange overlay is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥ distracting. What a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ for 12 year olds. Who comes up with that stupid ideas?

While I agree that I wish it was less scripted, I actually enjoy the Orange Juice (play as both players) gameplay dynamic. Yep the nicknames are corny but not any cornier than stuff from other games.

While 2K still has a ways to go to satisfy everyone and truly make it more of an RPG, they have really made huge strides this year. I could see them implementing, options to be top prospect, 2nd rounder, undrafted, D-league etc next year.

The text messaging system is another huge first step. I could see them improving this with more branched dialogue options that create differing outcomes ala more RPG like.

While there are some stumbles in the MC scripting, they made huge steps in the gameplay. Yes you get stuck more into post up situations now. However I like this more than just losing the ball when trying to drive around a defender. Feels a little more realistic to me.

... You won`t win with the majority of the people that don`t care about things you said here. Anyways... do you really think they would change it? who cares about it I don`t even listen to anything in the game also you can turn off the music in game or whenever you can. Orange juice and Justise aren`t that bad. If you are looking to play - don`t listen to it or don`t play the game I guess? why did you buy the game in the first place when didn`t check any gameplay on youtube first???!!!

They got from 4 dialogue options to 2 and stay that way for last 3 years if I remember correctly. 3-4 years ago it was much more of a RPG game than now. Currently it is ♥♥♥♥♥ visual novel.

They are creating useless features while not giving access to stats and information about the league, trades, roster. Years ago they had orgnized info and now it is "social media" informational chaos. What for? What is the point? "Make it look like Twitter" some idiot from 2K management probably said to dev team.

Oh, MyGM - how dafaq I am not able to define in which position and for how long per position player will play. It is so simple to give you a real control over rotation.
I was able to do it in old NBA Live - like 07 or 08, for faq sake!!!!

I didn't ask to be traded with Justise so I was traded alone. Justise stayed.
I am 85 and I was traded from Kings to Pistons for Ish Smith.

Kings have clueless owner and stupid management IRL so maybe it's realistic. ;)
