Are you sure it's a bug or it's your faulty controller?

100% sure it's a bug. The cable's messed up so it sometimes disconnects, but when it happens on MyCareer or any single player mode, it reconnects and let's me press start. MyPark on the other hand, even when I reconnect it just stays stuck.

probably a server issue. Can't read the controller anymore when trying to re-connect. 2K should patch it (as if they would).

I have the same problem sometimes. I use two XBOX 360 controllers for PC. Sometimes one of them disconnects or they switch players...it doesn't have to do anything with your cable. While I haven't fully found out what triggers the problem, you definitely have to make sure to plug in your controller(s) into a back USB...the front USB ports are sometimes too weak The rumble function needs power. I always got disconnects with front USB as soon as the gamepad rumbled.
Now everything is better with the controllers connected to back USB ports...sometimes I still get disconnects but then I plug them out and in again to solve the problem.
