Slasher sucks?
My player is a 6 foot 3 point guard and weighs 205 pounds and is a slasher. His ppplaymaking is maxed out to the highest it can go but his handles are sloppy and he is slow with the ball. His shot is trash also.

btw whats the point of messing up your BMI for example a good BMI for a 6 7 guy is 220 pounds. and the less you weight the faster your speed is of course i do not really get the point why so much guys make their myplayer slower and heavier instead faster . pretty sure cause they have no ecucation and do not know what a BMI is. for example you are 5 7 and your weight is 205 pounds , then you have a bad BMI and start a diet. peace to all messed up to heavy players which have no clue what BMI means .

As a slasher you're not a ball handler. Learn how to play off ball and use that size advantage you have to create open looks. Don't look for shots. Don't force passes, you're not a big time passer. Look to draw fouls and put big men in foul trouble. Play good D by being bigger than them. A slasher isn't going to wow you with speed or athleticism, he's going to dominate you with size and power.

Watch some film on deMar derozan and you'll understand how a slasher plays ball. It's a different style, but if you know how to use your size and skills, it's pretty unbeatable. Kobe, micheal, tmac, lebron, VC, almost every great scorer started off as a slasher in their career, and evolved oved their game after as athleticism stopped being dominant.
Off ball is where you create looks, as a pg, use that size yo get down low and draw attention and make the simple pass. You don't gotta stuff the stats as a pg, yiu gotta make the offense flow. Not every great pg gets amazing numbers, but their ability to allow the offense to flow and put their guys in spots is worth far more than stats.
i understand what you mean but the point is this is a video game and not reality and you get more often the tendenzies to get a contact dunk over a big instead of creating a cuty pie tiny slasher baby guard. plus you have more advantage in defense and boards. this is a video game and they cut out the trash from last year i was dunking with a balanced 6 3 pg over 2 centers in old town with the jordan skywalker and cant remember how often i just speed boost my way to the paint before patch 6 last year came out and dunked on every center i could and i heard a lot of guys complainin about how can a 6 3 guard dunk on a 7 3 big?

thats the reason they made archetypes this year to have more game balance and i really like that except the guys who are trash and need to activate tables in the game to have a bit more advantage cause they still trash but thats a different story.

if i spend 40 bucks for a slasher i choose both speed , height and dunk on a center and thats simply the 6 10 slasher basta.

power forward is trash maybe usefull in pro am but definetly not park cause of 40 or 50 speed

then i rather create a real center not a wannabe center like pf.

hello guys.. i know this is a off topic. I have a friend who are willing to share the payment to buy nba 2k17 on steam.. but, I just want to ask if we can share the games online or it just only single account? thanks guys..
rado213 2016 年 11 月 24 日 下午 6:25
why to share the game if you can buy your own key for 25 to 30 bucks on console ok its expensive but not on pc. afaik i am not sure about it i heard that it shouldnt be possible any more to share caused by already banned people who f u ck ed around with vc last year and i am happy for those gus who getting banked for that cause i pay every build i create with real money. and thats called business. and for all those who say its trash those people make it trash using cheat engine and destroy the competition.

whats the point of going 6 8 at a SF slasher better go 6 10 and then you can really snagg over Bigs. 6 8 is max height for shooting guard. i would recommend always go with tallest height to
have less missmatch or more advantage to smaller guys do not get the point of going smaller with a guy. When i would do a 6 8 build i did not compared yet but i think you should compare 6 7 pg 6 8 sg and 6 9 sf slasher at myplayer .com and then you see difference between speed if you think you are faster a lot i prefer to have more advantage when beeing in d in the zone.

6'8" is the tallest you can be and have 75 ball control for elite dribbles that's why.
And it's not too tall, so you still have decent speed. 75 for me.
I'm too big for guards and too quick for bigs.
I can guard both types pretty well in MyPark.
My max wing span allows for blocks and rebounds

Infact in one 2 on 2 game against a 7'3" 345lb posts scorer, the guy could not post on me, and get a shot off. I have 74 strength, which matched his :)
He could barely back me down.

He's bascially a Lebron style player

oh yeah pretty sure you break ankles with the elite dribbles ....... 4 sure. keeping things simple is the key to win a game in park. a normal flick down on absolute behind the back is enough then drive and dunk no need to equipe any trashy sizeups if i see people doing sizeups it wont last long and the ball is mine. if you say the 6 8 has more advantage cause you can trick him cause you are faster or s h i t then you play against r e t a r d s who can not play defense . today i played against 3 wannabe slasher guards and sf tallest of them was 6 7 or 6 8 and i had 7 blocks against them and they only made 2 dunks on fastbreaks. at normal inbound they never scored against me cause i know when to time the block cause i am not a sleep like other people are. especially on pc when you play against guys who do not give a f u c k about playing defense then you should not thing you re the goat or sh i t . and for example whe i play center against your 6 8 build you will be done in the post cause i know how to post up and do the cheese drop step then posterize you others even do not know that move cause they play on relative and do not watched the tutorial in the menu section. peace.
CoolColJ 2016 年 11 月 24 日 下午 6:43
I don't do ankle breaks, it's just elite dribbles are faster, I use the spin move quite a bit

You can only drop step me if you get close to the rim. And this guy could not get close to the rim, because he couldn't back me down quick enough, due to my weight and strength
And he had a Gold drop step badge as well.
My strength and post defense made his spins not go well

7'3" 345 is way too slow to do cuts

First, the heaviest you can make a 5'7 slasher PG is 180lbs which is a BMI of 27-28 (doing the math in the head). Which is overweight..... FOR A NORMAL PERSON, not people that are made of muscle.

Should LeBron James go on a diet? According to BMI he should.... his BMI is in the 27s
Did Ben Wallace need to go on a diet? According to BMI he should have... his BMI was in the 28s

The thing you are mistaken is that MUSCLE is heavier than FAT.

About 4 times heavier and takes 3 times less space according to muscle tone, physical activity you have.

If you think the slasher doesnt give offensive pressure.... you have no idea what you are talking about.

Freeze011 2016 年 11 月 25 日 上午 5:42
If you think that a slasher is just about "feelsgood" from the contact dunks, that just further reiterates my previous statement.
CoolColJ 2016 年 11 月 26 日 上午 12:01
Looks like my personal experience has been validated - you need 70 strength to dunk on people as a Slasher :)

http://www.nba2klab.com/dunking/

6'6" slasher dunking on a 7'3" glass cleaner

Strength Dunks Layups Missed Attempts
70 26% 25% 49%
65 20% 26% 54%
60 19% 22% 57%
55 20% 26% 54%
50 5% 29% 66%

So my 6'8" SF slasher 270lbs with 74 strength is in good hands.

For a SG slasher, you need to max his weight to 240lbs to get at least 70
for 6'7" it hits 71, 6'8" 70
