Slasher sucks?
My player is a 6 foot 3 point guard and weighs 205 pounds and is a slasher. His ppplaymaking is maxed out to the highest it can go but his handles are sloppy and he is slow with the ball. His shot is trash also.

Slashers are the worst archetype by far. Of course a good player will be able to perform with it, but the good player would have done better with another archetype.

We'll see once 2K has fixed relentless finisher though.
I think most slashers' mistake is to think they're ball handlers. Slashers, you're not. You're off-ball cutters. Set screens, roll hard, you'll score a lot of points that way. Raise your moving shot too, but don't try to overdribble.

Also, DON'T pick small slashers. The taller the better. Atheltic finishers actually have better badges than Slashers.

you can't over dribble it tires you down and then you are not explosive anymore. However off screens or simple change of direction you can be a threat. My slasher is 81 shooting off driblle both 3 and mid and 75 standing. As ball handling goes, i'm 83 but the tricky part is that i'm only 79 speed with ball and 94 without so there is almost no point dribbling a guy that will catch up with me at a point where i'm gazed out.

Slasher is hard and more effective in pro am but i'm currently building a new player because of the above mentionned.

I made a new player. I made a point guard playmaker. But the problem is that I have to restart everything. Do u know of a faster way to upgrade your player?

I don't even remember you... And like I say everytime some of you like to bring that up, I lost like 300 games in MyPark. You're not a special snowflake.
What I said is still true.

Edit: Yes I made one mistake, slashers can actually have Acrobat which is very good, so athletic finishers are not clearly better, like I thought. Acrobat > Pick and Roller.

the only problem is horrible speed with ball and them sticky canned animations when you beat the defender, he is behind you but you magically go in this animation when youj pick up the ball and can't do ♥♥♥♥ for 2-3 seconds

Nope, playing and earning is all I know. I will never buy VC for a broken game that releases a few fixes 2 months after release and that allows cheating.

There are slasher in the NBA that have good handles. For example, Dwayne wade in his prime, Allen iverson, etc. Idk what 2k was thinking to make a slasher not have a high ball control rating and low speed with the ball. I wish I started mycareer with a playmaker.

Like every year they give the illusion of something new. But in reality you have only 3 types of players. Each year we fall for it, complain about the same things but they have already cashed in our money.
