My Career How to have a title shot?

So I am already rank #1 in My Career for the NXT Championship. how do I get my title shot? I waited so long already but still they don't give me a title shot.....

Start a Rivalry with the champion by doing a Run In on them during their entrance or run in to support their opponent mid-match. That will almost certainly give you a title shot at the next Pay-Per-View.

And you will not turn Heel by doing that to a Face champion while being Face yourself, nor will you turn Face by doing that to a Heel champion while being a Heel.

Just remember that to get a title shot, you have to be the #1 contender. If you start a rivalry with the champion without being the #1 contender, the champion will get infinite reversals and improved momentum gain whenever you fight him.

Good game but... the "My Career" title shot system needs to be fixed.

Here is what I mean. In order to get a title shot you have to be the #1 thru 3 contender to the title. That is fine. (Even though it is a bit grindy to get enough popularity to move up the ranks). Then, you need to be in a "rivalry" with the current champion. This is the part that is annoying.
I ended up winning the title after about a calendar years (about 120 matches - two to three matches a calendar week in game) worth of time climing the rankings and getting my title shot finally. I won the belt and in my first title defense... I had "cut scene magic" occur to take the title from me. (You can't control it, it just happens).
First issue - the guy who took the title from me isn't the Champion... It defaults to going back to Seth Rollins for some reason. (The guy who I took it from originally). THEN I tried to get back into a rivalry with Seth Rollins (since I am the #1 contender still) and either A) he didn't wrestle - so I couldn't attack him to force the rivalry, or B) I had to wrestle against him, and no matter how badly I beat him, he was "fine" with it and didn't get angry at my wrestler - so again - no "Rivalry" is initiated.
Now I am at the next pay per view - and have another match against Seth Rollins - this makes about 15 matches against Seth Rollins in a row... but NO title shot because I don't have the magic "rivalry" engaged.

I am due for at least another 15-20 matches with Seth Rollins (despite winning every one of them) before I can contend for the title shot again.

This needs to be fixed.

To bad it's not like the real WWE...you come out of NXT and immediately get title shots. And 90% of the time they end up with the title. How many times have you watched it and they comment on a HUGE win in thier first WWE match from NXT against a title holder???

Anyway...I had this problem that snajones had but for the tag team title. Just started for the US champ belt..Seth Rollins came out to help me, we became tag team partners, so I signed up for tag team titles division......One match got into a rivalry with The Miz and Mizdow.......6 months later every freaking monday night raw was me and Seth vs Miz and Mizdow...6 ppv's later and I was only in 1 vs 1 matches mainly against Ryback.

I never got to even get out of the rivalry with Miz to even get into a shot for the title with whoever was tag team champs. I know tag team needs a big fix but since 2k17 is out for console and soon on PC they will never fix this game...so mayve one day I will try tag team title again, but who knows.
