yea u can do that
attach controllers
me and my friends play fatal 4 way ,all in one match, one screen
3 controllers and 1 keyboard
u can insert as much controllers as u want
i just have 3 wireless xbox ones so i put them in and a keyboard

it used to work like that
just get enough controllers
Get that hub thingy where u connect a lot of controllers
and BOOM u have a lot of human playable slots

Yes, but it would depend on whether the game itself supported 6 players. If the game only supports 4 then you could only play with 4, even if you had 6 controllers connected.
