Mods to beef up the Custom Character creator?
Basically new to the 2kxx series, was just wondering if there are any mods to make the character creator more versatile - more extreme body morphing, wearing capes etc. into the ring, wider height differences... You get the idea. I want to make some real mutants and watch them beat the ♥♥♥♥ out of each other.
Edit: Doesn't seem to be much out there, so I'll just use the game as is. Also, interesting discussion appears to have exploded out of this regarding whether or not this sort of thing "should be allowed". I'd like to state my innocence - I only wanted a game in which I could make characters and see them fight (it's hilarious to watch with friends), and WWE 2k16 looked like a cool game to do it with. That's it from my end.

Urgh, there are enough fighting games with over the top characters.

Let a wrestling game be a wrestling game with "normal" wrestlers...

Some of the people out in the gaming community seem to want aliens wrestling or cartoon characters both of which only belong in Disney wrestling not in a WWE game. If you want a Tekken clone go buy it but dont ask them to change another game into a cartoon game, as for modding a game to have those strange shaped characters it may cause glitches and problems due to clipping.

Well, you're fully allowed to do that, but if we want to mod the game to have mutant wrestlers I see no reason why we shouldn't be able to do that.

Where is the fun in that?

Half of the fun in wrestling games, is to see who can create the most outlandish 500lbs fat bastards capable of delivering drop kicks etc.

If that's not in the game, it takes 50% of the fun away right there and then.

Besides, your kind of pandering that to the wrong crowd anyway, considering the creation process that the WWE themselves go through when they develop a wrestlers, characters, plot lines, move set etc, in the real world.

There's nothing "Normal" about half of the wrestlers in the WWE at the minute, take Bray Wyatt for instance, does he look ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ normal to you?

Discussion is cool, all good, you can use the game however you want and, yep, WWE itself can be a bit warped. But the point is - are there some mods for loosening up the character creator?

For years fans craved for realistic wrestling games instead of goofy arcade wrestling games, now there are kids jumping around: oh I want a mod to create mutants.

Here's the link to the modding forum (wrestling enthousiasts):

You want mutants? Here's a gameslist for you:
- Intergalactic Cage Match
- WWF WrestleMania: the arcade game
- WWE All-Stars

If I want a fat wrestler, I create Haystacks Calhoun, the McGuire Twins or Happy Humphrey. Not some mutant.

As for the Wyatt character: deranged people exist in the real world, usually they're locked up or end up shot, but they exist.

If you want to keep your realistic wrestling game and don't want mutant nightmares running around the ring, then that's perfectly fine, but we do. If people mod mutants into their game, that doesn't affect you at all, so I don't see why you're so against us doing it.

Ok here is the way we got crotch blur.

a few people wanted to create naked wrestlers, so they did, and they posted videos on you tube and played around, WWE had the videos shown to them and didn't want it in thier games and so they made it impossible they gave us crotchblur and a large area we couldnt add designs making it impossible for us to make 90% of the real wrestlers trunks and tights. so when people do things that they want and it offends people in some way it can have a rather nasty outcome for the people that just want wrestling with realistic wrestlers. so when you make your non human wrestlers and someone takes offence for some reason or other we the players that just want realistic wrestlers get punished with yet another restriction on what we can do!.

You're right; nobody is stopping you from making such a mod yourself.

There's no way anybody could've predicted that response from the devs. And really, that's not even the modder's fault, blame the people that get offended too easily, or the devs for their dumb reaction to it.

That's true (and hell, I might even give it a try), but that's beside the point. OP made a thread asking if a certain mod existed that he could use, and all you guys did was come in and act like he was commiting a crime or something. Stating your opinion on the matter is one thing, but you could have at least attempted to answer the question instead of just saying (roughly translated) "you shouldn't do that because I don't like it".

very true but the fact it happend is enough that people should learn from the past.
the fact is the WWE are now so far politically correct that they will over react, and when people do mod the game and do create a situation I will be able to point at what people did when one of those same group that caused it whine about yet another restriction. because history shows that is what happend with crotch blur. the same idiots that made the videos whined about it.

only stupid people dont learn from the past.
