The intro video doesn't play. I get a black screen and rotating Windows mouse cursor, that's it. Left-clicking leads to Windows' "Doesn't respond" notification and the offering to either close the application or wait. Of course waiting doesn't progress the game's start....

Very early in the game, you get a "choice" when talking with the victim's mother to either go on the roof or wait until the next day. When I click to "go to the roof," it will not take me there so when I choose the other option I am unable to complete all the actions needed to complete when I get ready to proceed to the next area. I restarted the game thinking I had missed something but the same thing happened. I watched a video and the same thing happened but the video author just chose to go ahead with...
