So do these guys actually do anything once you have assigned them to a job?

Managed to save some Green dude, assigned him as a Smithy, but all he is doing is jumping about the place. He isnt naked anymore though so at least he can keep some dignity.

If i use Action on him (deafult R, ive rebound to E) i can tell him to forget the job or cancel.

Am i missing a workstation for him or is it just too damn early?

Craft the object assiociated from of NPC. (wizard's table, smith's anvil etc)

Yeah, you are missing the workstations. Every job except guardian has one. But unless I am missing something there is no real incentive to let em work for now cause they can only do excactly the same stuff that you do but you do it quicker ;)

They use less materials, it's useful for life potions.
Btw it's not the final system.

The cook and alchemist can do something if you build the work station designed for their occupation( built with green shards obtained when you free one of them). You need to put the work station close to them and invest in all the resourse shown to make them work for you. You can get food from cook, potion from alchemist, and as for the smith, I don't know how to put him into work yet.

I put something of everything in the smith and he made me gold armor pieces. So he can do some things apparently :)

I think i set him up as the alchemist for now - that sounds like the most useful!

At the moment the smith is possibly the least useful as what he makes is random and if he decides to make a batch of shields the materials can't be regained at the smelter.

You can find his anvil on the furnce by the other player use anvils.
