whats the best way to farm runes

This may be out of date now, but fighting the fairy boss. She has a straightforward attack pattern and you can immediately jump back through the portal to fight her again after each victory. Watch out for her traits though, she can mess you up if she has damage reflect.

best way to farm you ask? Well, chicken runes is easy to get, just force all the chickens into corner and just murder them, if your asking special runes yes like the ppl said the fairy boss is one of it and the best picked by players.

Best way is getting a soulsucker transformation and insta-killing the leaf fairy with it. I need around 3-5 seconds per bossfight. The soulsucker at level 30 does like 10x90 damage with his projectile attack.

This works on all other bosses too, don't get hit, though, it's a glass cannon.
