Is there a reason most of the textures are the complete same with starbound?

Is there a reason some of the texture are the complete same with starbound? I kinda felt this was something that needed to be asked.

but feel free to share what you think is a identical texture between theses both game, maybe you play at some mod who take somes of our texture or just have a feeling.

I didn't buy the game because I noticed graphicly a lot of the textures were the exact same, and seemed to be a asset flip. If you played starbound before It's rather noticable.

I'd ask you if some of your artists in your dev team worked for chucklefish before, but seems your game came out a month earlier then starbound on the same year. Was there a asset on the unity store your using?

Ok I could get that many screenshots because starbound is a pretty huge game. I think might be less of textures being copied and more of just about everything your game has besides turning into npc creatures has been done in this other 2d game.

I will admit the dark bricks in one picture look a tiny bit like the castle bricks in the game, but other than that, there is a pretty distinct difference between the two games in terms of how the blocks look.

The plants, and terrian textures was what made me think they were using the same asset, as starbound has different plants and sometimes even ground textures for just about every planet in the game.

Post a comparative screenshot, not just starbound random screenshots.
Nothing looks like anything in what you're showing, and yes, bricks are bricks, neither starbound nor centauri invented bricks...

I would be able to do that. if it wasn't for the fact I lost my previous save file. So when I made those screenshots... I had to create a new save and unlock being able to use a ship all over again.
