are we hacked for real?

am i the only one who think that this game hacks our computers for real, or is there anyone else who shares the same thought? here is why i feel this way: the game uses the real command prompt and sometimes, when i enter wrong commands, a real windows error pops up on the front of my screen, i checked it and it turned out a real windows error message; weird, isn't it? i need someone to explain this to me please.

don't think so. It's not your actual MSDOS prompt in the game, it's a GUI meant to look like it, but it isn't the same as opening MSDOS on your own computer. error exceptions happen on other games also, and those don't have you thinking your hacked, the paranoia is just because this is a GUI game on someone who is hacking. Also, the commands in the game are just a tad simpler than actual DOS for ease of game-play. when in doubt, or if you get stuck, try using the "hint" or "answer" commands to find out what to do next. The program may just be throwing errors because you're typing something it's not programmed to know how to react to. Computers and computer games can only do what they're programmed, with the exception of AI and machine learning, so if you toss it something weird, it generally doesn't know what to do with that unless it has if/then/else settings to catch the wield stuff and return something else for them. I rather enjoyed the game, though there were several parts where you're expected to use commands or guess what to do when you haven't used or been introduced to that yet.
