Will online avatar mode be broke?

Shogun 2 avatar was broke. People would simply pull out the internet cable which would not count as a loss and would bug you in a now frozen lobby. You had to alt f4 to escape the match!!! The game mode sucked its full of cheaters and horse archer spam. A new gfx will not suddenly make this mode good.
