NVIDIA card issues (FPS drops, broken polygons, etc.)

Please make sure you are using the latest graphics card driver (especially for NVIDIA cards). You can always find the latest drivers directly at the manufacturers' website. Please do not rely on automatic Windows updates.

Symptom of NVIDIA cards: broken polygon display after starting the first scene.

Solution:
1. Open NVIDIA control panel
2. Go to "Manage 3D settings" -> "Program Settings", there, select "Zantph.exe"
3. Set the "Maximum count of pre-rendered single frames" to 1 and...
4. Click "Apply"
The graphic errors should now be fixed.

Please note:
Generally you find the zanthp.exe in your installation path/folder of steam:
..... \Steam\steamapps\common\ZanZarah\System..

Incompatibility with notebooks (FPS drops in the menu):
Set you screen resolution to a modus with 32 bit color depth.

Lösung:
1. NVIDIA Systemsteuerung öffnen.
2. Unter "3D Einstellungen verwalten" -> "Programmeinstellungen", dort die installierte "Zantph.exe" auswählen.
3. Bei "Maximale Anzahl der vorgerenderten Einzelbilder" den Wert auf "1" setzen und
4. "Übernehmen" klicken.
Die Grafikfehler sollten nun behoben sein.

WICHTIG:
Standardmässig befindet sich die zanthp.exe in eurem Installationspfad/Ordner von Steam:
..... \Steam\steamapps\common\ZanZarah\System..

Inkompatibilität mit Notebooks (FPS-Einbrüche im Menü):
Verwende bitte bei der Einstellung der Bildschirmauflösung Modi mit 32 Bit Farbtiefe.

It doesn't work, the problem is with the speed of the mouse, in the menu and during dialogs, it's slow and laggy...

I'm running Windows 10 64-bit on a pc with an I5 processor and 8Gb of RAM and I have a Geforce GTX 960. The game isn't recognised by NVIDIA's Geforce Experience and when I open the Nvidia Configuration screen the only menu option I get is Stereoscopic 3D (which my monitor doesn't support). So how am I supposed to change the settings you indicate? I've checked an dI have the latest Windows 10 drivers installed (13th of August). The game runs fine but slows down to a grind each time a menu screen or dialog is displayed just like Noriana mentions.

Just bought your game, It plays nice on my laptop Only the mouse movement when clicking on boxes is very slow and laggy and seems to take for ever to line up to a command box, I hope you can resolve this. Also is it possible to add controller support, I would prefere to play it with a controller. As for the laggy mouse, not fun, Please fix if you can Thank you :)

I'm running a Windows 8.1 64-bit desktop with an i7 processor, 16GB RAM and a GTX 770 and this fix does not work for me. I'm still getting flickering graphics in some areas and very bad lag in menus and dialogue - whenever the cursor is on screen basically.

This doesn't seem to have been optimised for modern systems at all, which is a shame as I was looking forward to replaying this old favourite of mine.

I really hope you guys concider Optimising this very nice looking game of yours so we all can play and enjoy it on the more modern computers, with out tampering with internal computer settings, as I need assistance with this i have no idea about computer files. Its a real shame because what I have seen of this game it looks really nice, if you dont try and fix this before adding other features people are asking for, then your game will get a very bad review rating. I dont think this game deserves that so please concider fixing it. I payed almost $8 Australian for this game and I DO want to play it, but the mouse is the big issue for me, PLEASE fix soon.

Remember if you want to sell a game, make sure we that choose to buy it, can play and enjoy it with out any issues please.

Also I have a laptop i7-4700MQ CPU, GT 740M NVIDIA GeForce GPU, Windows 8.1, 1TB harddrive, and most games I have played will run on my laptop, only the odd 1 or 2 I have refunded. I would like to keep this game, but I would also like to beable to play it smoothly as well. Please try and fix I know you can, if you care about your work and games, and also if you even care about your customers that choose to buy your game's. PLEASE fix the issues before adding extra features like cards and achievements please, FIXING is more important for now :)

Do you have the PhysX Legacy drivers installed? Oler games need them to run properly. I have them installed and have no problems at all running the game out of the box. Even mouse movement sometimes is too quick and I have to reduce DPI from my mouse.

Neither fix for poligons/textures, nor fix for the menu on the laptop does work for me. Windows 10, GeForce GT 650M, driver version 355.60.

Besides that it would be REALLY nice if there would be following features in the Stam version of the game:
* Widescreen support (because, seriously)
* Windowed mode. Preferably borderless, but even simple windowed mode will do due to Borderless Gaming program.
* Fix for starting game from the beginning when it's minimized and restored.


I'm really glad that this game is made to Steam, but I'm totally not happy about such "quality" release. I could have played my CD version with exactly the same set of bugs and issues as this one.
