Which version OBS do you have?
I dunno what 'studio' is... As far as I know, I have just OBS :P
I tried with both the newest classic OBS (the one I had installed) and Studio. Both show a black screen with audio.
I'm using the 'default' settings that allowed me to record other games fine - recently recorded Mirror's Edge Catalyst and The Division with it. No problems.
Can you guys tell me if you changed some settings in the video settings of OBS and what checkboxes you have set for the source?
I have a dual monitor setup, but that hasn't caused any issues with other games...
My mate has the same result I have, except he's tried Shadowplay, but was able to record playing in windowed-mode (which I haven't tried).
Hmm, sucks... Cause all of it is set up properly, as far as I know. Basically, I just changed 'Mirror's Edge Catalyst' to 'Necropolis' and pressed 'Start streaming'.
Should've worked, if you ask me...
I am using AMD R9 series, which apparently doesn't work well with OBS and OpenGL. By setting Multi-adapter Compatibility in OBS Studio, it now captures fine.
This option was not available (or hidden somewhere else) in classic OBS.
For those reading this at a later time:
Right click Game Capture (source) -> Check Multi-adapter Compatibility.
