So people are saying Herebrained schemes gave up on the game.

It could just be it takes that long to make the New stuff in a GIANT update.



The Arcanist is going to be a Complicated character to create.

So just give them time.



It takes Months to code a character.

Then more months to debug it.

And it takes the longest time to find out what they want the "Arcanist" to do.

Brute was Simple to make cause all it is is a -x damage model With Repackaged sprites that fit into it.



Arcanist is going to be Mana System Algorythm + LOADS of new weapons + a New Map Pack that comes with it + debugging + more.

i sure hope so it does seem like a good concept
The part about Mana System Algorythm is secondary. The real peculiarity of the Arcanist should be a better speed of movement and combat and better jump, but of course the weapons should take away less damage because lighter but always better than the base character.
The truth Mana System Algorythm should be for the character of the Magician but the devs hadn't even started to develop marginally. Apart from some design and citation in the lore of the levels and the presence of magic wands.
