Resolution registry settings for a 1080p screen
First of all - this game is a must-buy classic.

----

Second, there is a registry modification to change the resolution to maximise the use of the screen:

In: shiny entertainment -> sacrifice -> options

You should have a registry key of type REG_BINARY called "Resolution"
The resolution I use on a 1080p monitor is 1350x1080 which is encoded as follows:

For 1350x1080 (5:4 - Which I use)

46 05 00 00 38 04 00 00 01 00 00 00 20 00 00 00 01 00 00 00 00 00 00 00

OR...

For 1440x1080 (4:3 - Please confirm that objects don't disappear at screen edges?)

A0 05 00 00 38 04 00 00 01 00 00 00 20 00 00 00 01 00 00 00 00 00 00 00

OR...

For 1920x1080 (Not reccommended due to objects dissappearing at screen edges)

80 07 00 00 38 04 00 00 01 00 00 00 20 00 00 00 01 00 00 00 00 00 00 00

Note: This is overwritten if you enter your Graphics Options menu (back to 640x480 etc).

For the technically minded the resolutions are stored as a set of big endian uint32.
I.e.
0x00000546 = 1350
0x00000438 = 1080
Can't remember what the rest do - maybe colour depth 0x00000020 = 32 etc?

Hope this helps - it does look nice.

**DISCLAIMER**
Registry settings can mess up your computer - be sure you have experience with "regedit" before making these modifications.

I set up a custom resolution for my monitor in the Nvidia Control Panel of 1440x1080, and the option shows up in-game with no problem, no registry hacks required. This works on a lot of other older games that only run in 4:3. You could do the same with 1350x1080 if you need 5:4.

Good to know there is a simplier way if it works for others.
