Crashing on Windows 10

So basically the title says it all. I'm on Windows 10 and whenever I try to start the game - it just instantly crashes saying the program is not working. I've tried running in compatibility mode for Windows XP service pack 2 and 98 but it's not working.

I think it depends on driver versions of your hardware, your hardware, and certainly luck...

older driver doesnt work at this point. most of use have modern cards.

I started trying to run the game none stop and in one of those attemps it went in. played for an hour just fine and now I cant run it again. The problem is only starting up the game. Ones it runs that is it. the game does run in widnwos 10. I wish I knew what the hell is stopping it from going into menu

Same here not working for me in windows 10 64bit. My system is i7-2600k, GTX 970 , 16GB RAM. I just use the GTX 970 sound, the nvidia sound driver.

The issue on my system is the sound. None of the sound providers work. One of the software providers will get me in game but sound cuts out random. While the sound is cutting out, exiting the game locks up windows and I have to do reboot to recover.

I did google search many times and can't find any sound provider fix or solution. Guess I won't be playing this game ever again.

i got w10 nvid intel laptop and it works just fine once i disabled the bump details option.
however i cannot record sac, nor can i use scapex.
something for something i guess..

Try running compatibility mode. Go to run bar and type "run program" (made for previous versions of windows), then click on "not listed" and search for sacrifice. I am running it in windows 7 mode, works fine.
