Game doesn't launch

I just bought it today and it doesn't work. How is this game still on the steam store if it doesn't work...

I'm running Windows 10, Intel core i7 7800x @3.50 Ghz, 8 GB ram, and Geforce GTX 970 4GB could someone please help.

For me only the gog version works but when it wants... So with those last updates, I don't know if it's my nvidia drivers or windows, my gog version works only some times for random reason I just bash the launch button (ok I have to kill the process because the majority of the time it bugs) and at least it starts to work...

On steam, I have stopped trying to make it work...

By the way, this game is life. <3

I bought this game and tried to get it to work until I was innelligable for a refund. Tried to get an exception and they said no. I still check in from time to time to see if it has been fixed.

I have over 650 games on steam. Only 3 of them do not work with Sacrifice being among them. I have a very high end gaming PC. The issue is very much on Sacrifice's end. It is not compatible with modern systems. Users should not have to troubleshoot settings in an attempt to emulate older software in order to play a modern PC game purchased through a modern digital platform. Steam should go the route of GOG and optimize old games for modern compatibility before selling them to the general public.

I was using my disc for years and after some punk lost it used to pireate it. I even at some point talked to people online in-game but never could figure out how to play with them...And now it is here...my god if it works is multiplayer possible???

100% in agreement with Maverick. Steam should stop selling this game or fix it to play in a modern PC system. I have a top of the line Alienware and still cannot play this game. A real pity since it is a fabulous game.

To get the game to play change the resulution in the settings under graphics and you'll be able to play it.
