Looks like Sacrifice is getting an indie spiritual successor "Soul Shards Ice Void"
Hello Guys, soon this game will get a Closed Alpha, if you are interested in a test key, just follow that link and subscribe. "the game is still in unstable early stage, so developers are still ironing out bugs"

I don't see anywhere them claiming that, but it seems somewhat similar, i guess.

Worth noting: "free to play" :blech: That's bad in my opinion.

"Soul Shards is a real time strategy game that combines the deep strategy of traditional card games with the immersion and fast pace of FPS games."
I don't think Sacrifice has anything to do with card games?

Seems like they are using word card instead of spell^^
An ability to customize your faction units and spells with a deck of cards sounds interesting.

Anyway I would say its the closest thing we did see for Sacrifice since 2000 lol

Sacrifice was essentially the first MOBA game but without all the "freemium" content. Cards and FPS elements are decidedly not Sacrifice-like.

are there people that still play sacrifice online?
