Most likely CPU Cores couldn't detect your cores count correctly ? what is your Processor model and how many cores / threads do you have ?

I have the same issue. The CPU is an i9 13900KF, 24 cores and 32 threads

After testing, when the prioritization affinity setting is set to the default value of 32, launching the game triggers this error. Switching to 31 or lower values allows the game to start normally

Thank you for the feedback, that's very helpful!

It seems like the max number of cores that can be used on the KF variants is threads count - 1 instead of the actual thread count, we'll try to account for that and roll an update in the coming days!

my cpu: amd 7950x3d, normally start failed, I tried set prioritization to 31 and it started successfully
