Guys does it work?
I have an I7 3770k and I want to get the best out of it. I can only see 1 steam review, can anyone tell me if this is worth 20 bucks? Does it work?

Well people who instantly say its scam, didnt even read how the program is supposed to work...u know, if they dont even know that, they cant just say it doesnt work.

Some so far reported quite some fps increase..i may test it myself since i could still do steam refund.

If you are having frame rate issues on lower end hardware I would expect this tool to be of some benefit. On higher end hardware like the OP's I would expect only marginal performance gains (at best) for the vast majority of modern games.

I have manually played with processor affinity and process priorities myself in the past and some gains are possible but not guaranteed.

Similar (or better) gains can almost certainly be achieved using free tools and a bit of experimentation.

This thing does exact the same als if you select cores for processes yourself via windows taskmanager - absolutly nothing.

But it does so automatically. That's the point.

Depending on the application/game, this tool could be detrimental to the candidate's performance. Performance gains are not a given.

On the whole (based on what I have seen to date), personally I do not think it is worth the money (similarly with the same developer's other tool which is basically allocating a RAM Drive and using it in a similar fashion that Intel's RST uses an SSD).

On lower end kit, it might be worth it but on higher end kit I would give it a miss.

Indeed: the dev himself got caught out when he recorded a video and the cpucores software was messing up the performance of his video recording software, making the video stuttery. This at least is evidence that the software does _something_.

Hey Moop,

Yup I redid that video and used different video recording codecs and settings. I've actually done several new videos. Check em out here :)

20 dollars is a little pricy. I hope the dev puts it on a sale.

There are free tools which can do this... So 20 Euro / Dollars seems way too much.

Pretty much, there doesn't even seem any other benefit other than having profiles.

I honestly don't understand that $20 pricetag for a product that does the same as the native windows taskmanager.

It does so automatically. You just click on launch, that's all. The program does the rest.

But this one has Steam integration, and I didn't know there were free tools for that. But still: Paying money meens I get support. And so far for what I'm seeing here I think I'm right.

Well, it's not like you waste more than a few seconds setting your own configs. And it's free.

But yeah, if you feel like it was worth your money, then it's fine.

Also I didn't know there was free software that does that, so, yea :P
I'll still see if it was worth my money, couldn't test it fully yet.
