Well normally I would say that it seems to help with games that max out your CPU, however, Battlefield 1 has absolutely terrible optimization.
Try checking out the CPUCores reviews and see if anybody mentions Battlefield 1?
Maybe if money isn't much of an issue, give it a try, but if it is, I'd probably say base things more on reviews rather than to try it out. I'd rather a person SAVE money and be happy than to spend money on something that can only afford if it's guaranteed to work.
With Battlefield 1's terrible optimization, I'd say that nothing is guaranteed to help that game :)
as for your question no you will not see a gain with CPUcores on that particular title because it it's the pinnacle of optimization so i'll say the problem lies within your PC if you really want to see a game that gets you 25 FPS while using CPU cores go run the Bioshock:infinite benchmark thats a 25FPS increase on both average and maximum i know because i run the test

Edit
My bad did a little bit of googling and apparently the problem lies within I5s in multiplayer so if this game is maxing your 4 cores then I'm sure CPU cores will help to reduce the overhead I know because it helped me with Total War games which have a similar problem maxing out one single core by fixing it I didn't gain more Framerate but it remove that "Lag spike" as you called it

Yea you are right, my I5 4460 cries when playing on multiplayer even with everything on low. I tried capping the FPS, i tried playing on servers with less people, i tried everything even waiting for some patches and it doesn't help unfortunately.
I'll turn off Hyperthreading and test this out for you in a couple of minutes
Due to the nature of the game i couldn't do a proper test since they are always different maps and locations but i run CPUcores and didn't notice much difference i also dont know what is the difference between an I5 or an I7 other than hyperthreading my CPU is a Sandy Bridge i7-3820 at 4.3 with 2142 MHZ DDR3 both screens done at 1440p ultra on 64Player operation
Edit
Remember that you can always refund CPUcores so i strongly advise you to at least give it a try also dont use DX12 its not properly implemented and will hurt you more than help

Well great, i was looking so forward to this game, now im kind of sad that nothing can be done, looks like the game is broken and Dice will properly never fix it. The only option i have now i guess is to either A - Wait. But that can take a super long time. Or B - Get a new PC with an I7 6700K and a GTX 1080. Still not possible as im skin as hell. So rip my dreams of playing this game. ;-;

Hey unless you are willing to sponsor me then i don't think buying a new CPU is even an option, i had this CPU for only like half a year why should i change it? Im also only 17 and have no job, no job no money, no money no honey. So it appears i have to wait until the future. :/
The thread is very old dude lol.
I brought brand new top of the line parts ever since, GTX 1080, Ryzen 1700 OC'ed at 3.7GHz, 16GB DDR4 RAM at 3200MHz and I can play the game at 1080p, with 150 fps at max settings alongside a reshade.
