Thanks guys, but I found out how to get it to work: run it in windowed mode.

make a shortcut on your desktop and type in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Fallout Tactics\BOS.exe" -g

Hello, yeah i have the same proablem. Realy did not like the windowed mode, so i decided to cheack all of the applactations. So in the main file of fallout tactics, Locate a file called FOT_HiRes_Patch and double click to run. Once that has completed, it will allow you to run the game in full windows mode. It worked for me. If you want to make sure it will run, do the same thing with FTTools_HiRes_Patch and run the fttools to make sure it will run. I have just tried it and it worked. Not to sure if that will be the case for every one. But I don't think it can hurt.

Refuse to play this on a tiny, non-resizeable window. FOT_HiRes_Patch and FTTools_HiRes_Patch worked for me, July 2020 Windows 10. Thanks heaps!! :D

Has anyone had any luck with the game? I can't seem to get the game to boot & can't see any way to change permissions etc?

I'm running windows 11, if that makes a difference? I can run Fallout 1/2 all the same

I also had to install Direct Play, but was able to get the game to launch by "run as administrator"

Wou need to start the BOS.exe with -w parameter (Windowed) from total commander or windows explorer)

The command for me was
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout Tactics\BOS.exe -w
