Anyone able to give me any feedback on the Redux mod?

Just finished it a while ago.
Biggest pros:
+ More stable, some bugs fixed, some maps tweaked in very reasonable way
+ You can now take vehicles into missions (and they're tougher), this is a great and refreshing change
+ Perk descriptions are more precise now, and descriptions mention if the perk is broken.
+ Some extra content in tasteful amounts
Biggest cons:
- Weapon skill balance kinda went out of window as opposed to what the mod promises. Small guns aren't any stronger, and gauss rifle feels slightly weaker than I remembered, jackhammer with EMP shells is as good as it was, and with regular shells it's near-viable lategame too. Big Guns have been dissapointingly nerfed into near-uselessness (except the rocket launcher), Energy Weapons shine even more than usual because of that.
- Author's vision was a bit too pretentious / tryhard at times. I found the weapon name changes intended to "falloutify" them silly, "Bronson M2" instead of "Browning M2" *rolls eyes*. Miniguns got axed from the game, especially the Gauss Minigun, as if the author wanted to stress that I won't get any other useful big gun aside from the rocket launcher.

And I got critted by the robots far more than I think I should have, but it was probably my ♥♥♥♥ luck. All in all it's a good mod with lots of work put into it, though it has certain flaws (which might be subjective, they're just things I dislike). I probably won't install it ever again for any of my future playthroughs, but that one-time was worth it. I think it'd be considerably better had the weapons not been touched at all.

I have been playing it for a couple days and pretty much came to the same sort of conclusion. I am thinking of removing it again. I enjoyed the overhaul he did when it came to the other recruits but a lot of the names of the weapons are cringe worthy. Not just that but a lot of the ammo has the wrong pictures which greatly confuses me at times.

I had hoped it would add the one thing I really needed with this game, more locations to explore and quests to do but alas I doubt thats in it at this point.

As for the crits, mate I am having that problem with pretty much everyone. I play on hard and I get critted two out of the three times that they hit me. Not just that but I now seem to be in a habbit of missing with burst weapon twice in a row while I have 95% hit chance.

And it can not be your low luck as I have a habbit of playing with a L10 leader (my current guy is just that)

It looked really prommesing at first but the more I play it the more I am starting to regret it..

It's a bit refreshing at least, and the vehicles add a new approach for the missions, especially the last one feels much different when you have a whole convoy. It's just that "once is enough".

If you're looking for FT mods, Awaken is quite fun, but I don't know how the English translation is holding up (I happen to be Polish).

I've heard Enclave mod is pretty good and that there are at least a few good single scenarios out there, but I haven't checked them out yet.
