Proper scaling like Fallout 1 and 2 at 2560x1440?

It's perfect in 1 and 2 where it's full screen and properly scales, but in Tactics, everything is just so tiny.

I don't want to play at 800x600 for it to be scaled properly.

I already applied the HD Resolution Patch which is in the folder where the game is installed, but that didn't help.

Is there any kind of an unofficial patch or anything that can make it scale just like 1 and 2?

I remember using a DirectDraw open source project to get this game to scale in various ways in the past. I wish I remember which one I used.

I'm not a fan of interpolation scaling but I do see what you mean because I found 4K2K amazing for obtaining map screenshots but not so fun to play overall, maybe you should stick to full-HD and it might even help the GPU or display adaptor not having to do more work upscaling.
