Sniper Perk.
Hi. Read in one guide that above perk is bugged for this version. Can anyone explain the bug? The guide did not explain the bug. Thanks.

The idea is 10 LUCK should = 100% critical hits. I never got around to testing it for sure because I tired myself out testing out the Divine Favor perk. What you read is implying that 10 LUCK does NOT give 100% certain/ always critical hits. The truth is that Sniper happens so late in the game that it really does not even matter. On Tough Guy I think you get it second to last level and on a regular game its on the last level itself. A game long benefit critical build using Finesse + 10 Luck + More Criticals (3x) + Aimed shots is much more useful all game. Then take into account that Voodoo can stack - and can be farmed early from random encounters and just forget about Sniper all together. Look at the recruit Dos (I think that is the name - a Reaver add on late game) for the general build idea. So to actually answer the question, I think its correct that it is "broken" or was just intended to not be as UBER as Fallout 2 Sniper was. I hope this was helpful and not total brain damage.

In Tactics, base critical chance is your Luck. So if your Luck is 6 then your critical chance is 6%.

The Sniper Perk is supposed multiply your Luck roll by 10 when determining crit chances only. So if you have 6 Luck, you'd have a 60% chance to crit with Sniper. That's without any other modifiers added.

It is bugged though, so I wouldn't bother. However, there are a couple of mods that fix that.
