Kansas City -- can Bishop forgive?
I've killed all the mutants and protected the bishop, but I accidentally killed one of the allied ghouls, so the bishop and his men are now enemies. Do they ever lose their enemy status? Can you make them "forgive" you? My earliest saved game is after this blunder, so I'm a little stuck.

I don't know man. I think you're f***d. At least you were only halfway into the game. It's still a crapload of time to lose though. Sucks really.

I hate it when one of those idiot ghouls just runs in there to face the mutants in mortal kombat like wtf is he thinking? He must be on jet...

One trick I found that helped a lot in Kansas City is to move your characters behind the sandbags and to keep them crouched and NEVER MAKE THEM STAND. Somehow this stopped those super mutant minigunners from completely obliterating 2-3 ghouls per burst from 2 miles away. No idea how and why that worked but I only lost 1-2 ghouls.

Also I blew up that ghoul that thinks he's chuck norris with a rocket launcher along with 3 super mutants. It was beautiful AND it didn't make the ghouls hostile in the end. So you can go ahead and do that if you want to. I think it's fine as long as you aim the rocket at a mutant and NOT the ghoul himself ;)

I had to start over, no way around it.

Another tip for Kansas City: being inside the church or being on the second floor right above the doorways brings the mutants into the church, where they kill the bishop and you lose. If you only shoot at them from particular positions on the second floor, they never enter the church and they never come to the second floor.

I used Boomer to throw a grenade close to a pair of super mutant that was standing next to the sandbag and the ghoul who didn't either crouched or proned, gotten killed along with the grenade blast. The southern gate was chaotic.

I had the Humvee blew up in the earlier mission, where you have to escort it to the other side of town. The rocket launcher and grenades blew it up.

To my knowledge, you have to just redo the mission. FYI, if you have two grunts with hit the deck, you can just run them out front and tank the rocket attacks. If you push hard enough out, you could even save all of the ghouls. This works on Insane+Tough Guy+CTB/Continous.

Here's a video I have of it:

At least you aren't being wallbanged by super muntants in oscellia. Hell, when i had tried to inflitrate the compound my squad is being like a fish in a barrel (first underground system leads directly to the compound). That place has plenty of .50 cal for the Brownin M2. And they can shred your squad to pieces, but though i know that you already knew that.

Use the explosive tanks to your advantage. I'd take the left side first and eliminate the sniper's perch by blanketing it with rocket attacks. Have snipers ready to eliminate them from beyond their threat range. Then secure the rest of the perimeter outside and breach the front gates. Definitely do not go underground, because that is actually a trap. For the flamer inside, use the frag and clear technique (CTRL+right click whilst holding a grenade). Other than that, just pound them down. Muties lack accurate ranged attacks, because they are of low intellect and agility. Here is an example of how I do that one, though the part where I fire the rockets could be improved upon, since most of these missions it's my first time playing them in ten years.

In any case, if you don't take the underground pass, which is an ambush, I'm sure you'll have no issue with this mission.

Thanks for the tip, but i did managed to pass that mission from going through the second enterance from the west wall. And clearing the super muntants that has M249 Saws and a single fragger. And from there i completed the mission. The Browning M2s are a great weapon, but they are very dangerous to go against. And now i am currently at "The Bend".
