mainly i am just asking if it uses the chip amount or the buy in amount out of your bank roll

just the amount it says i.e 1,000 then a little entry fee think 1st prize is 3.6k i wish more people would play 5k tourneys

Hmm. You use your chip amount (bankroll) for the buy-in amount. So if the buy-in is 100, 10000 or whatever, it comes out of your bankroll.

When your in a tourney lobby you can see the payout amount at the bottom of the screen, places paid are 1st thru 3rd. The payout amount depends on how many people join. My advice, I wouldn't hit the ready right away when you join. I would wait for a few people. Be warned! It could take some time for players to start showing up.
