Are there Multiplayer Bots?

Just want to know. Another poker game on Steam announced a few months ago that GP3 would no longer be using Bots on multiplayer tables. This was a shocker to me! Why on earth would you want to use bots in multiplayer anyways...

Just want some reassurance on my assumption.

Running a bot on this game would be a serious waste of resources. You'd be better off running it on a real money poker site but any big site would pretty much snap on to that and confiscate your funds. So yeah, I do not believe that there is bots in this game and I've played (real money and live) poker for many years.

Usually the "bots everywhere" screaming comes from losing players making bad calls and who don't know when to fold. Pretty much like the "bad beat" stories and "rigged" calls.

That's just wrong. The behaviour of some players only is possible with a programmed player.
- Why should a real player waste his money sending gifts to the table in a three seconds interval, doing it for 5 minutes?
- Why do four players leave a turnament play (6v6) at the same time, leaving two players left (for sure without loosing)?
- And how do the devs explain two players with exactly the same name and same outfit playing on two different tables at the same time?

And so on...
Loosen chances to develope a nice and good poker game with fun factor.

I´m still playing PP, and for sure it has yet nothing to do with real poker. It was just my warning, not to spend real money in this "game".

I think this post is refering to bots (AI) that pipeworks could add to the game in mutliplayer
which obviously they dont. Your talking about player created bots, extra accounts which many have.

No. This post I made over a year ago was to assure myself and other players that Multiplayer Bots do not exist on Multiplayer tables. The MultiAcconuts Ace speaks of is true. If the posts are still there you can comb through history and read some who have openly stated they have multiple accounts.

GP3 will no longer use bots in this ancient necroed thread comes across to me as the company were using AI to make up the tables then stopped and will pipeworks do that. But the responses are refering to cheat bots run by third programs. Maybe Im just getting old and can keep up with what people are talking about. Im sure half of us are still working out happy seat and hot seat.

I dont know how everyone else takes it but Multiplayer Bots I talk about would be bots in games other than Single Player and I wouldnt want any bots in Multiplayer games either. The MultiAccounts are cheaters, colluders and losers.

Hackers? I know nothing of any hackers nor have I witnessed such .

Now this isn't to say that A.I. Bots exist but I would love the developers to explain the level 1 player with Provisional 1 rank that appeared only after waiting twenty minutes for a Ranked Head to head. Nothing strange you may think until you consider the 'player' was wearing the spades Track Suit which you require Rank 4 to buy or if lucky a reward from levelling up. A level 1 hasn't levelled up and I cannot see how that amount of affiliation points could be accumilated by a level 1. As stated before it's a game, treat it as such or stop playing. Other threads state 'rigged' flops and the 'better' hands going to players that constantly raise, coding or 'luck' who knows ? the fact is it is not real and only for enjoyment,yes there is a lot wrong with the game (having to wait too long for a ranked game because it tries to pair you with a player of similar ranking when in fact ranking means nothing as it's the cards you get that matters, and the points awarded/deducted because of rank also needs attention) but it is just that, a game.
